Refund policy
Need to make a return? No problem.
We value every customer and because your trust is important to us, we want you to be happy with every purchase. We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return your item.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return:

- include your order number and email used at the time of order.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Stickers and Button Pins
A flat rate cost of return shipping, $4.95 USD, will be deducted from your refund if returning for reasons other than damaged or defective.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Yam Yam Treats Co. - Dog Treats
We are proud to offer high-quality, plant-based superfood treats that are freeze -dried and naturally varied in appearance. Because our products are made from real ingredients and freeze-dried without preservatives, some differences in color, texture, or shape are completely normal.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges if your dog does not like a treat or if you simply change your mind. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns, even unopened ones, once a product has left our facility.
So please order thoughtfully and reach out if you need guidance. And again, if unsure, your vet is always your best source of advice.
Yam Yam freeze-dried treats are preservative-free and shelf-stable when stored in a cool, dark, airtight place. However, like any natural food product, spoilage can still occur.
If you believe a treat has spoiled:
- contact us at tobesandpips@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving it.
- include your order number and email used at the time of order.
- provide a clear, well-lit photo.
- let us know how the product was stored and what the issue is.
You'll then have the option of:
- a full refund
- an exchange of the same treat

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), personal care goods (such as beauty products) and pet hygiene goods (such as toothbrushes). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Gift Card
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are not refundable unless you receive an incorrect item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7-10 business days. For stickers and button pins, you will be automatically refunded less $4.95 on your original payment method within 7-10 business day.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Late Returns
Any product(s) returned outside of the deadline for returns may not be accepted or only accepted for site credit.
